I had planned on updating the soivohle.com website today, got most of it done, only to find out that I could not upload the pages. Our service was spotty all day and even part of yesterday. It is working fine now. So tomorrow I will try again to upload the Acoustic Flower page. This is happening more lately, and I am not all that happy with it. Our Adelphia is now Roadrunner, a result of a Time Warner buy out. I was hoping that the service would improve. Still am. Think positive Lizzie, all is going to be ok..
Did not make it to the Derby in person this year, but did catch it on TV. What a race. One of the best finishes in years. I am still excited about the jockey and his amazing joy at winning. When I was a kid I spent a lot of time on my aunt and uncles farm in Kentucky. They had horses, and I always wanted one of my own. I guess you really can’t own a horse, it owns you. Like most animals who live closely with humans. It is they who do the owning. And I am cool with that. There are quite a few wonderfully manicured thoroughbred horse farms in Kentucky, if you ever get the chance to visit one, do so.
On the perfume front, I am caught up on custom work. I have a box of gift samples going to a charity event that still needs to be filled, but after that I will be switching gears and moving back full time to Soivohle’ and new brand project. A rose series is planned for a late summer release. I will be releasing (finally) the Pink Button Rose, and two others, still nameless. The Pink Button Rose made a brief appearance when we were in Chicago last year, but it was never released. As far as the new brand goes, I will explain it all in detail as we get closer to a launch date. I am in no hurry to jump. Been there done that. Besides I like the idea of planning ahead, and having everything in place.
That’s it for now.
Peace & Blessings, ZZ……
